Olympus Awakened – Major Update

Over the past month Olympus Awakened has received a number of major updates focused on crafting progression, the game economy, combat balance, and overall quality of life improvements.

 

Expanded Crafting System

• Crafting has been significantly expanded and players can now craft gear all the way up to Legendary quality. Legendary and Mythic crafting now requires both materials and Ambrosia, reflecting the power of these items. At the highest quality, crafted Legendary and Mythic gear can even outperform dropped versions.
• The crafting system itself has also been streamlined. Trade skills are no longer capped by Codex ownership, and the Codex now provides useful bonuses such as increased trade skill experience and larger crafting queues.

Ambrosia – New Earnable Currency

• A new progression currency, Ambrosia, has been introduced to Olympus Awakened.
• Players can earn Ambrosia through item salvaging, tournaments, and random drops. Every salvaged item guarantees at least 1 Ambrosia, allowing players to steadily work toward powerful crafting upgrades and future systems.
• Ambrosia will also play an important role in the evolving beast spawning system moving forward.

Combat and Item Improvements

• Artifacts and high-tier gear have received improvements to make them more impactful in combat. Artifact bonuses now scale with modified stats and several new artifact abilities have been introduced to add more depth to combat.
• Mythic gear has also gained additional defensive value in PvP, giving players more strategic build options.

Quality of Life Updates

• Many smaller improvements have been implemented to make the game smoother and easier to manage:
• Items dropped in chat can now be salvaged directly from chat
• Drops now display color-coded rarity and tooltips
• Modified stats now correctly display bonuses from gear, class, and skills   
• Various UI improvements and bug fixes across inventory, combat, and currency displays
