Version 1.2.0

July 12, 2026

Olympus Awakened Development Update

The forge has been burning hot this week, and Olympus just got a fresh pair of sandals.

Behind the scenes we've continued improving performance, stability, and real-time gameplay while laying the foundation for some major upcoming features.

Highlights

  • The public website has received a fresh overhaul, making it easier for new heroes to discover Olympus Awakened and jump into the adventure.

  • Real-time systems continue to expand. Chat, marketplace activity, beast spawns, player movement, PvP, and player presence are all moving away from heavy polling toward a much more responsive experience.

  • Tournament improvements have continued with better lobby handling, player teleports, rewards, and more reliable tournament progression from start to finish.

  • Our Laravel migration keeps rolling forward. More inventory, combat, crafting, shops, quests, equipment, and related systems have now been moved over to the new architecture, giving us a much stronger foundation for future content.

  • A long list of bugs and quality-of-life improvements have been addressed across combat, quests, crafting, marketplace escrow, navigation, avatars, HUD performance, starter equipment, and more.

  • The admin toolkit continues to grow, giving us better control over events, items, player management, account upgrades, world configuration, and future content releases.

We're making steady progress every week, and while not every change is flashy, each one brings Olympus Awakened closer to the experience we've envisioned from the beginning.

Thank you to everyone continuing to test, report bugs, and provide feedback. It genuinely helps shape the future of the game.

Version 1.1.0 - Divine Tempering ⭐

July 3, 2026

New Feature: Equipment Tempering

A new equipment progression system has arrived. Eligible weapons, armor, accessories, and spells can now be tempered with special Temper Stones to increase their star level and boost their item stats.

Tempering is available from the Crafting Hall under the new Tempering tab. From there, you can view eligible equipment, see current and next-star stat bonuses, craft Temper Stones from fragments, and upgrade your gear in one focused place.

Temper Stone fragments are earned by salvaging eligible equipment. Salvaged Legendary gear can grant Legendary Fragments, and salvaged Mythic gear can grant Mythic Fragments. Once you have enough fragments, you can craft Temper Stones:

  • Legendary Temper Stone: 500 Legendary Fragments

  • Mythic Temper Stone: 250 Mythic Fragments

Artifacts cannot be tempered.

Start salvaging, craft your Temper Stones, and push your favorite gear even further.

Tournament Improvements

  • Added support for Best 2 of 3 Tournament Finals.

  • Finalists now need multiple wins before a champion is declared.

  • Improved the final tournament flow so championship matches feel more competitive and are less dependent on a single fight outcome.

  • Cleaned up finals chat messages to make each round and result easier to follow.

Welcome to Version 1.0.0 — A New Foundation

June 29, 2026

Today marks a major milestone for the game: we have officially migrated to Laravel and are starting fresh with version 1.0.0.

This update is less about one single feature and more about building a stronger foundation for everything coming next. The old legacy system served its purpose, but moving forward we now have a cleaner, more stable, and more scalable codebase to build on.

With this fresh start, we are also resetting the news feed. Older updates will remain part of the game’s history, but from this point forward, news posts will focus on the current version of the game and future development.

What this means going forward:

  • Cleaner development structure

  • Better long-term stability

  • Faster feature development

  • Easier balancing and bug fixing

  • A clear version history starting at 1.0.0

Thank you to everyone who has played, tested, reported bugs, and helped shape the game so far. This is the beginning of a new chapter, and we are excited for what comes next.

Version 1.0.0 is live.
